At the lower school, P.E. is part of the curriculum with students participating in classes three days a week. Every class begins with stretching and running. At this age level, they participate in group games, learn to play with each other, build technical skills and learn sportsmanship.
Working closely with the school nurse and the athletic department, students begin to learn how healthy living and exercise can make a difference in their lives.
Lower school students also have the opportunity to sign up for after school clinics and lessons in the following sports:
Swimming (all school year)
Tennis (Oct, Nov, & April)
Soccer (to be announced)
Basketball (to be announced)
Fencing (to be announced)
