With the first graduating class, The Adelson School will send into the world students who possess confidence and a strong sense of self.

We believe that education for life is more than gaining knowledge. It’s about applying that knowledge to the world around us. As part of our intellectually challenging program of college preparatory general studies, students:
• Learn to organize information.
• Synthesize new ideas.
• Understand the research process.
• Strengthen their critical thinking skills.
• Employ technological tools to enhance their future.

The Adelson School’s approach to education allows students to see the relationship of all knowledge to life, to moral vision and to the creation of culture, while teaching invaluable lessons in critical thinking. Whether studying science or literature, history or art, math or the Bible, students grapple with eternal human questions and ideas such as:
• Democracy and freedom.
• The nature of good and evil.
• The impact of science and technology on human values.
• The role of religion in shaping human civilization.

The Adelson School’s approach will produce students who will be welcomed at the university level for their:
• Independence of thought.
• Fluency in science, language, math, literature and art.
• Ability to analyze, blend and apply ideas.
• Understanding of how historic events shape contemporary politics.
• Desire to use their knowledge as a practical and moral foundation for life.
• Commitment to community service.
