Founding New Traditions
Naturally, the current class of freshmen and sophomore students are enormously important to the future of The Adelson School. These first classes are establishing the institution’s character and are setting an example for future classes. These students are the pioneers in a great tradition of learning, of sharing and of family.
No student remains anonymous. Small class sizes ensure that students participate in a broad spectrum of activities in ways that might not be available at larger schools.
While encouraging students to be individuals, The Adelson School provides a place of security, both physically and emotionally. The school expects students and faculty to participate in acts of hesed (loving kindness) toward one another every day. Building on this spirit, we develop a community of students who are respectful of others’ opinions and who help to ensure that every student is part of the larger family.
As pioneers with unique experiences, The Adelson School’s first graduates will receive special interest from colleges and universities that seek qualified candidates from schools outside the norm. |
