The Adelson Advantage: A Secure Campus
Adelson takes campus security as seriously as any of our academic accomplishments, if not more. We work hard every day so we can say with confidence that your child is safe here.
Chief of Safety & Security, Todd Peters, is a retired deputy police chief for the City of Henderson. He applies his 25 years of experience in law enforcement to ensuring we’re one of the most secure schools in the Las Vegas valley.

We’re Invested in Security
Adelson has made these significant investments in campus security:
- Highly-trained security professionals who patrol the campus.
- Video surveillance technology throughout the grounds.
- Monitored gates so no unauthorized vehicles or pedestrians approach our campus.
- Background checks for all employees and any adult who will be interacting with students.
- Ongoing security training for all Adelson staff and faculty.
A Connected Community is a Safe Community
Security staff get to know our Adelson families. They will soon identify you as a valued and trustworthy member of our community. That sense of connectedness, of being known, contributes to the feeling of safety here.
