The Adelson School is excited to invite individuals to apply for substitute teaching positions for grades Kindergarten through Fifth Grade on an as-needed, hourly basis. This is a great opportunity for those seeking flexible work arrangements!
 
As a substitute, you’ll be responsible for providing supervision and instruction, implementing lesson plans, managing the classroom, and ensuring a positive learning experience for our students.

The Adelson School is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Long-term Substitute Teacher for our Lower School (grades K-5) to join our warm and collaborative educational team. In this important role, you will provide continuity of instruction and ensure that our students receive a high-quality education.
 
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to the specific needs of the classroom. As a Long-term Substitute Teacher, you’ll implement lesson plans, manage classroom behavior, and foster a positive learning atmosphere. You’ll collaborate closely with other teachers and staff to ensure educational standards are met while keeping students engaged and motivated.
 
Building rapport with students and creating a supportive, inclusive classroom is key. We’re looking for someone committed to the academic and personal growth of all students, who can also communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
